Day 12 - Cologne/Frankfurt

After Berlin, Sanch and I took a train to Cologne, a place where my mom lived for 10 months when she was doing an internship. Right when we got off the train, we were welcomed by this breathtaking cathedral.
There were also little stone steps which Sanch and I stood on and played with.
Cologne is right beside the Rhine River so Sanch and I enjoyed the view and took a one hour cruise around the Rhine River. Trust me, it's 024357098 better than the Pasig River! I don't even know why I compared in to that because it's incomparable.
Right after, Sanch and I went to my Mom's old apartment! Number 34 Breite Strasse. It was so cool seeing where she used to live. Like what she said, there was a bakery right under!
Sanch and I made sure to drop by inside the cathedral before anything else. The views inside are just too magnificent to capture through a camera.
Right after, Sanch and I went to the chocolate museum and had so much fun tripping out on the different chocolate figures. They have a chocolate camera!
Look what I found!
That's me outside the chocolate museum. It's by Lindt! And we also went here 'coz it was Janine's birthday and we knew she loves Lindt.
Sanch and I went to the old town and saw some archeologists digging up some ruins.
We saw someone get married too! This was their wedding car. Pretty funky!
Another beautiful church. That's where the wedding took place.
Right after Cologne, Sanch and I headed to Frankfurt to meet up with her relatives! That's the famous square in Frankfurt where the town hall is and everything.
We finally have pictures together because her aunt and uncle took us around!
We even got to attend a Filipino kids birthday party! That's Lea, the girl in the middle in white, who celebrated her 7th birthday. It was like a debut with people singing to her and giving her roses. Pinoy na Pinoy talaga!
GRABE. I ate sooo much. There was Adobo, Sisig, Liempo, all kinds of Pinoy desserts like bibingka, buko pandan, puto, cucinta, EVERYTHING. I had a feast!
They used a cooking tool to break the pinata. Filipinos are so creative!
