Finally, Sanch and I started traveling around Germany! We woke up at 4:30AM to catch a 5:30AM train to Berlin which took 6 hours. We got to Berlin at 11AM, all set to tour and explore the capital of Germany.

We first had to search for our hostel. It was pretty good. We only spent 25 Euros each for 2 nights and the accommodations were pretty nice naman. We had to share a room with 8 people, though, but we hardly stayed in the room anyway.

We first had to figure out where we wanted to go first. Unfortunately, we got a bit lost so we missed the 1PM walking tour. We ended up attending the 4PM walking tour but did a bit of touring before that first.

First stop, the Reichstag building! This is where all the congressmen and women meet to create bills and laws and stuff. It's a very beautiful building with a Dome on top for everyone to see the whole Berlin.

I saw a picture of Obama and had to have a picture with it. It was in front of the Kennedy Museum and there were mostly tributes to the late Ted Kennedy.

We saw the Brandenburg Gate too! The statue on top was stolen by someone and taken to Paris so when they retrieved it back, they decided to put it on top to sort of mock it and placed in the Parisen Platz [I don't know if you get that].

I don't know if you recognize this but this is the famous hotel where MICHAEL JACKSON dangled his baby! He did it on the third floor, third window from the left. The Presidential Suite there costs 1.2 million pesos a night.

We visited the lovely Jewish Holocaust Museum/Memorial after. Damn, that was wild! It had such beautiful architecture and it was made to show no bias towards anyone. These gray concrete blocks were meant to mock coffins/tombstones and also for you to get lost in. It's really wild! Mikee, another site I visited for you!

See how tall they are? I look so small amongst all the concrete blocks!

Under that garden thingy is where Hitler's bunkers used to be and where he killed himself. The Germans don't really like making a big deal out of it that's why it looks so plain.

This is the spot where the East Germans protested and wanted their freedom from the Soviet countries. They hated the Socialist life.

I saw this small cute car. So adorable.

Sanch and I finally have a picture together! That's the Berlin Wall behind us.

Sanch is posing at Checkpoint Charlie. That's where the border between East Berlin and West Berlin used to be. It's called Checkpoint Charlie because the people had code names like Alpha Beta Charlie.

Check out the name of the store! HAHAHA.

I'm posing in front of one of the twin cathedrals. Opposite it is a cathedral that looks exactly the same. This one is the French Cathedral and the one opposite it was the German one.

This one is a dome made by the Kaiser for his guests.

The TV tower behind me is so beautiful! You can't really see it, though, but it's one of the tallest structures in Germany!

Mikes, this is the outside of Parisen Platz 3, another site you told me to visit you. It doesn't look too good in pictures but it's beautiful in person. Sanch and I just walked around Berlin at night and called it a day because we had another day of touring the next day!
