Day 6 - Ingolstadt

We took a train from Munich-Ingolstadt. All our belongings fit on two chairs! It was sooo hard lugging it around, though. We all got cranky and hungry because the train was at 12:29PM so we didn't have lunch. We got to Ingolstadt at 1:27PM but we had to fix everything in my apartment before grabbing something to eat.
This is my school. The new building at least. When I saw this, it automatically cheered me up because it's so beautiful and modern. It makes me motivated to study!
Thanks to Leo, my tutor. He helped me get my big luggage to my room. He's half Iranian-half German. Awesome, right?
Sanch and I cooked dinner! Louie washed the dishes. It looks gross but we bought Schnitzel, which is like porkchop, drowned it with my favorite Pinakurat vinegar and ate it with rice. I have to say, it was pretty awesome.

Leo took us to a few bars that night. This is what it looks like in Ingolstadt. Pretty steady naman. Think Ponti vibe.

Day 5 - Munich

We visited the BMW Museum again but this time with the Munich Business School People. Louie, Sanch and I went to the BMW Plant tour but we weren't allowed to take pictures. It was really cool, though 'coz we got to see how BMWs were made.
For dinner, we went back to Oktoberfest and had a 1/2 meter bratwurst sandwich.
That night, we went partying and met a fellow Filipino! He's the one showing his tattoo.
We partied with some people from Munich Business School from France. That's Julian.
I met this 21 year old US Army guy named Dan and we had matching outfits! We got home super late that day because we waited for the U-Bahn to open.

Day 4 - Munich

We visited the BMW Museum! Here's a picture of my dream car.
We had a tour in the Olympia Park too where the 1972 Olympic games were held. Sanch and I played foozeball in this really long table.
We got to play soccer in the field where FC Bayern Munich used to play before they moved to the Allianz Arena.
Sanch and I got scarfs because we're going to watch a game in November. The Allianz Arena is so beautiful!
One more time in Oktoberfest!

Day 3 - Ingolstadt/Munich

We visited our school with my mom and we met with the international office. This is a picture of us in front of the faculty. This is a picture of the old building. There's a new building where some of our classes are. Our trip to Ingolstadt was kind of spontaneous so the international office was surprised to see us. Germans like everything set and on time so we think she was kind of BV when she saw us 'coz we ruined her schedule.
Sanch and I found out our dormitory was right in front of school! That means we can wake up 5 minutes before class and still make it on time. This is a picture of us in front of our dorm. I have my own room and bathroom so it's all good.
Louie's apartment is kind of far from us, though. He plans to get a bike so he won't have to walk to school when it starts snowing. His apartment's pretty cool, though. It's modern and he has two floors.
We went back to Oktoberfest, of course and went around the tents. Some guy even let us chug from his beer!
This cute little boy event posed for a picture for us.
Look at all the people dancing and singing at the top of their lungs! The band is on top and everyone's just in costume, drinking beer.
All the tents are decorated differently. None of the tents are the same. It's like a competition on who has the best design.
This is the First Aid station where all the people who are super drunk go to be saved.

Day 2 - Munich

We went shopping first then went to Oktoberfest right after. It was wild. There are bands who play and people are housed in these huge tents. People drink as early as 8AM. People stand up when they hear songs they recognize and sing at the top of their lungs. We drank with the Munich Business people again and snacked on beer and sausages. Typical German food, of course. Tables are reserved after 5:30PM so we had to leave.
Right after we drank, we RODE A ROLLERCOASTER with 5 loops. Look at us right after. The feeling was awesome! And I got red for the first time.
We saw people getting pulled out with stretchers pa because they were sooo drunk.
We drank more! Jager shots for everyone!
We went to the Chinischer Turn in the Englischer garten after and had typical German food. More beer pa for me! My favorite is Radler. It's beer + lemonade. It's awesome!

Day 1 - Munich

Sanch and I in Oktoberfest with one of the rides.
Hay nako, Sanch and I had to pay this guy $100 each.
Last hangout before I left Manila.

On my last night in Manila, I received many surprises. Migi Domingo arrived all the way from the States, Raisa and her friends made an awesome video for me and the best barkada in the world, Amazing 16, surprised me with a journal. In the journal, I have to do view it day by day because they have different tasks for me per day. I'm not allowed to cheat and look ahead. My friends and I cooked a bunch of food and they brought me to the airport at 4AM.

I cried non-stop and the feeling was bittersweet. I don't know how else to put it but it was just the weirdest feeling ever of leaving everyone behind and at the same time knowing that there was so much more waiting for me in Germany.

When Sanch and I got to the airport, we found out we were overweight by $100. Hassled by everything, Sanch thought she lost her passport but she accidentally just shut it in the suitcase when we were trying to unload some things we didn't need. She found it eventually and we waited just 30 minutes before boarding the plane.

Long story short, we got to DOHA and waited in the airport for 2 hours then we were off to Munich. I watched a Filipino movie in the flight! HAHA.

When we got to Munich, we couldn't find the person picking us up but we eventually found her. She drove us to our hotel which we found out was SUPER NEAR OKTOBERFEST. We ate in this restaurant called Pipasa and saw our friends from Munich Business School. We went to Oktoberfest and everything was just so overwhelming. We didn't expect anything like it at all. We had to go back to the hotel to see my mom and we were so tired so we passed out.
